Proanthocyanidin in Cranberg tablet prevents attachment of UPEC to uro-epithelial cells and enhances urinary tract by improving urine pH , and prevents cystitis (Bladder infections) .Ursolic acid in Cranberg tablets significantly increases Nitric oxide and reduces NF-KB production, offers anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties and provide relief from burning sensations during urination. Potassium Magnesium citrate makes the urine less acidic by raising the pH, thereby reducing irritation while urination.By preventing urinary tract infections, Cranberg tablet can also help reduce the need for antibiotics. Unlike antibiotics which are useful for mainly acute and existing UTIs, Cranberg tablet is suitable for prevention as a long-term use unlike antibiotics, Cranberg tablet avoids development resistance, secondary infections, side effect and is safe in pregnancy. It is suitable for use in asymptomatic bacteriuria in pregnancy, recurrent cystitis, pyelonephritis, post-coital infections, recurrent UTIs in diabetics, adolescents & peri-post menopausal women.
